Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This policy explains what information the iPhone app Truth or Dare Vibes – CHSL (“CHSL”) and this website, chsl.me, handle, who receives it and what you can do about it. We are Two Dice Ltd.

The short version

  • CHSL has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • Player names you type for a game are not saved and are not sent anywhere.
  • The app sends information about how it is used to PostHog, an analytics service, so we can see how the game is played and fix what does not work. It is linked to a random ID made on your phone, not to your name.
  • Apple handles every purchase. We do not see your payment details.
  • This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics script.
  • The app is rated 13+ on the App Store. If you are under 18, you can read this page with a parent or someone else you trust.

Who we are

Two Dice Ltd. decides how this information is used, so under UK data protection law we are its “controller”. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15273875, with our registered office at 7 Bell Yard, London, England, WC2A 2JR. You can reach us at team@twodice.tech.

What the app sends

When you use CHSL, the app sends the following to PostHog, our analytics provider:

  • How you use the game: the screens you open, the pack you choose, the number of players, the game language, when a game starts, finishes or is left early, how long it lasted and how many cards were played.
  • Purchase steps: when a purchase screen opens or closes, which option you pick, when a purchase starts, completes, fails, is cancelled or restored, the price and currency shown, and whether a free trial started.
  • Notification choices: whether you allowed notifications, said no or closed the question.
  • Your device and the app: the phone model (for example “iPhone15,2”), the iOS version, screen size, language, time zone, whether you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data, and the app version.
  • When the app is installed, updated, opened or moved to the background.
  • A random ID. PostHog’s code in the app makes it on your phone the first time the app opens, and it links the information from your phone together. It is not your name, email, Apple Account or advertising ID, and we do not connect it to any of them.

Each time the app opens, it also asks PostHog for its settings. That request includes the random ID, the app version and the iOS version.

The app does not send player names, contacts, photos or your precise location, and it does not use your phone’s advertising ID.

Your IP address and location

Whenever the app talks to PostHog, PostHog receives your IP address, as any internet service does. Since September 4, 2026, PostHog does not store it and does not work out a location from it.

Before that date it did both. PostHog still holds analytics from January 29 to September 4, 2026 that include IP addresses and an approximate location worked out from them: city, postcode and map coordinates, accurate to between about 5 km and 1,000 km. We have decided to delete this information. Until it is deleted, it is kept with the rest of the analytics from that period.

What stays on your phone

  • Player names, only while a game is being set up and played.
  • Your settings: language, theme and vibration, plus counters the app uses to decide when to ask about notifications, when to ask for a rating and when to show the subscription screen, whether you have used a free trial, and a reference to your first purchase.
  • Reminders: if you allow notifications, the app can remind you on Fridays and Saturdays. Your phone schedules them, and nothing about them is sent to us.

Deleting the app deletes all of this from your phone.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the one-time unlock are sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple takes the payment and keeps your purchase history under its own privacy policy. The app checks on your phone what you have bought. Apple does not give us your name, Apple Account or payment details.

When the app asks you to rate it, the request is shown by Apple, and your answer goes to Apple.

This website

chsl.me is hosted by Cloudflare. When you open a page, your browser sends Cloudflare the usual request information: your IP address, the page address, your browser type and the page you came from. Cloudflare uses it to deliver and protect the site and counts page visits for us.

The site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and runs no analytics script. The App Store link and the App Store banner in Safari send nothing to Apple until you tap them.

The support form

Our Support page has a form. It asks for a subject, your email address and your message. When you send it, Cloudflare passes what you typed to our mailbox, team@twodice.tech, as an email. This website does not store your message, and the form stores nothing in your browser.

Cloudflare keeps a record of each message the form sends, including your email address and the subject, for up to 31 days. Our mailbox is provided by Google, and we keep your message there until we delete it. We use your email address only to reply to you, and we do not add it to any mailing list.

To stop the form being used to send bulk mail, Cloudflare counts the messages sent from your IP address, or from the network it belongs to, and turns away further messages once there have been about five in a minute. We do not see or keep that count.

Who receives the information

  • PostHog, Inc. stores the app’s analytics for us on servers in the United States, under a data processing agreement with us. Under its terms, PostHog may also use this data, in aggregated form or with anything that identifies us removed, to develop its own products and AI models.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and passes on messages from the support form for us, under a data processing agreement with us. Its privacy policy explains how it handles request information.
  • Google provides our mailbox, team@twodice.tech, through Google Workspace, under a data processing agreement with us. It holds the messages you send us, through the support form or by email.
  • Apple handles purchases as a separate company responsible for its own use of your information.

We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.

Sending information to the United States

PostHog and Cloudflare are based in the United States, and Google may store our mailbox there. All three take part in the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (for Google, through Google LLC), which UK law recognises as protecting personal data sent to them. PostHog’s and Cloudflare’s agreements with us also include the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Why we use it

We use the app’s analytics because we have a legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the game people play and where the app does not work, so that we can improve it. We use the website’s request information because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting the site. We use the messages you send us, through the support form or by email, to answer you, because we have a legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. This is the “legitimate interests” basis in Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR. When your message is a request about your information or a complaint, the law also requires us to answer it.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.

How long we keep it

  • We keep the app’s analytics until we delete them.
  • Website request information is kept by Cloudflare as its privacy policy describes. We do not set that period.
  • What stays on your phone is kept until you delete the app.
  • Messages you send us, through the support form or by email, are kept in our mailbox until we delete them. Cloudflare’s record of a message from the support form is kept for up to 31 days.

Your choices and rights

To stop the app sending analytics, delete it. This also removes the random ID from your phone; if you install the app again, it makes a new ID.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to object to how we use it and to receive it in a format you can reuse.

Because the app has no account and does not show the random ID, we usually cannot tell which analytics belong to you. If you write to us, we will tell you whether we can find your information, and if we can, we will act on your request.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, write to us through the support form or email team@twodice.tech. We will confirm that we received your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we did about it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. You do not have to come to us first.

Children

CHSL is rated 13+ on the App Store. We do not ask anyone’s age, and the app works the same way for every player. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question about your child’s information, write to us at team@twodice.tech.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top. The Terms of Use are on their own page.
